A refundable security deposit may be required for:

  • Use of specialty equipment
  • After-hours access
  • First-time renters

The required amount will be stated during booking (typically $100–$500 depending on the project).

2. Conditions for Retaining Part or All of the Deposit

Your deposit may be withheld, partially or fully, if:

  • The studio is not left in acceptable condition

  • Overtime was incurred and not paid at checkout
  • Additional cleaning or reset time is required
  • Any building rules were violated
  • There is damage to walls, floors, ceilings, or fixtures
  • The lockout policy (below) is triggered

3. Return of Deposit

  • Deposits are typically refunded within 1–2 business days after inspection.
  • Any deductions will be itemized and emailed to you.
  • You are responsible for repair or replacement costs exceeding the deposit amount.

Lockout Policy

1. Late Arrival / Inability to Access

If you arrive late and cannot access the studio because you did not follow check-in instructions, building entry procedures, or failed to notify staff:

  • Your booking time will continue as scheduled.
  • No refund or extension is provided.

2. Lost or Unreturned Access Keys/Fobs/Codes

  • Lost or unreturned keys will incur a replacement fee of $400.
